The course trains current active DAFNE educators who were previously trained to deliver the face-to-face DAFNE course format and how to deliver the Remote DAFNE (MDI) participant course.
This is a 2-stage course delivered, entailing 4 hours of learning.
| Stage 1 | You will be sent the training materials via email; once you receive them, you will be granted access to the Remote DAFNE training video, which you will be required to watch at a time suitable to you – please diarise 3 hours for this. You will then be required to complete a declaration form and return it it to central DAFNE to confirm you have completed stage 1. |
| Stage 2 | Once your declaration has been received, the central DAFNE team will contact you with dates for a 1 hour remote training session with one of our National DAFNE educators. We will then book you onto your preferred date and send you a Microsoft Teams link for you to attend the session. Once attended you will be certificated to deliver Remote DAFNE. |
The Remote Educator Conversion training is for active face-to-face training of DAFNE educators working in a DAFNE service.
The training is provided free of charge.
If you have any queries or are interested in applying for this training please email dafne@nhct.nhs.uk to express your interest. A member of the team will then get back to you with a list of available programmes and dates, along with an application form for you to complete and return.
